The modern city of Al-Bayda is located at the center of Al-Jabel Al-Akhdar, close to the ancient sites of Cyrene and Apollonia. It is marked by old buildings dated to the Italian occupation.
Derna is a town of extreme beauty. Its nature is covered with green spots . Caves are found in the mountains of Derna. The waterfall is a significant place for tourists. It is a mixture of clean water and green trees.
The Green Mountain is a tremendous region. Its beauty and stunning nature shift between soft and smooth mountain landscape, cut by some wild rocks and green trees.
Ghadames
This antique town is located 650Km southwest of Tripoli, close to the borders of Algeria and Tunisia. It covers an area of 225 hectares. It has an oasis that makes it a spectacular place for tourists. Ghadames is divided into two towns,(old and new).
The old town with narrow streets and white colors lies within the oasis of Ghadames. Its houses were built of clay, unfired brick and palm tree.
The new town has been built above the oasis. It is a real example of Libyan culture and folklore. Traditional festivals are organized every year in which people of Ghadames show their customs and folklore dancing.
